Abstract: Accommodation is the ability to see objects at various distances and decreases with age. Binocular vision abnormalities caused by accommodation can occur at different ages. Typical methods of measuring accommodation, such as accommodation amplitude and accommodation sensitivity, are influenced by the state of the eye at the testing time. They may have large fluctuations. With the gradual development of testing technology, different principle-based testing instruments can accurately measure various parameters of the ocular segment and obtain changes in intraocular morphology during accommodation. The study of changes in the anterior segment during accommodation or before and after ciliary muscle paralysis is significant for the occurrence and intervention of orthokeratology and presbyopia.
